Agathe Leriche is a research scientist with the Mediterranean Institute of marine and terrestrial Biodiversity and Ecology (IMBE), and a lecturer with Aix-Marseille University in France since 2009. She works at the interface between biogeography, ecological modelling, landscape ecology an conservation ecology. Her research apply modelling approaches to the study of biogeographical mechanisms involved in the origin and dynamics of Mediterranean biodiversity and likely consequences of global change.
- 2004 : PhD in environmental sciences, chemistry and health, specialisation in marine ecology (Université de la Méditerranée, Aix-Marseille II, France)
- 2005 : Research and Teaching Assistant (ATER) at Université Aix-Marseille II
- 2007 : GIS Specialist, ENSIS-SCION, Biosecurity Unit, New-Zealand
- 2009 : Postdoctoral fellow in ecological modelling and climate change, CSIRO, Forest Systems Science, Australia
