Biological and chemical analysis joint service

The aim of this joint service creation project is to rationalize and pool some scientific equipment and skills on the same geographical site. The SCABC aims to provide technical and logistical support to the various research themes developed at the IMBE. It will allow the setting up of a network of interactions between the different teams concerned by its activities. The SCABC will be dedicated to the study of continental, terrestrial and aquatic ecosystems. The material analyzed will consist of soils, sediments, water, plants, animals, microorganisms etc.
The SCABC will aggregate and provide some pre-existing equipment and environmental analysis competent staff. The use and the maintenance will be optimized by this pooling of equipment. The SCABC annual appropriations will allow to ac-quire new equipment and improve the analytical offer. It would be complementary to the analysis and biodiversity valori-zation platform (set up on the Campus of St-Jérôme during the previous quinquennial and piloted by the UMR ISM2, in partnership with the IMBE) which includes two technical platforms, one dedicated to the culture of microorganisms, the other to genetic analysis (cf.
