I am a research scientist with the Mediterranean Institute of marine and terrestrial Biodiversity and Ecology (IMBE), and a lecturer with Aix-Marseille University in France since 2009. I work at the interface between distribution ecology, biogeography, ecological modelling, and conservation ecology. My research applies modelling approaches to the study of mechanisms involved in the origin and dynamics of Mediterranean biodiversity and likely consequences of global change.

Keywords: distribution ecology - macroecology - conservation ecology - biogeography - species distribution patterns - congruence - global changes - research/management interface
