The 2026 annual conference is an invitation to rethink the discipline: transcending borders, crossing knowledge, and imagining transdisciplinary, decolonial and multi-species practices.<\/p>\n<p><strong>The programme<\/strong> Conferences, workshops and meetings on :<br \/>\n- indigenous intellectual sovereignty and research ethics<br \/>\n- contextualised approaches to ethnopharmacology and traditional medicines<br \/>\n- agro-ecology, food and resilience<br \/>\n- arts, design and plant materials<br \/>\n- linguistic diversity and pluriversal exchanges<br \/>\n- community participation and global health<\/p>\n<p>The conference is intended to be a forum for dialogue between researchers, artists and local communities, where plants are not just studied but seen as partners and teachers.<\/p>\n<p>Organised by <a href=\"https:\/\/ethnobotany.org\/home\/meetings\/ethnobotany-2026.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Society for Ethnobotany<\/a>, in partnership with the University of Montpellier, IRD, CIRAD, CNRS and MSH SUD.<\/p>\n<p>\ud83d\udd0e More information to come - stay tuned!<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Le Congr\u00e8s annuel de la Soci\u00e9t\u00e9 d\u2019ethnobotanique se tiendra \u00e0 Montpellier en 2026 !
