The goal of the forthcoming conference is to discuss the interactions between biodiversity and human health under rapidly changing environmental conditions, to identify research gaps, and to develop novel, innovative approaches on how to manage ecosystems and biodiversity for the benefit of humans and nature.

The 2.5 day conference with plenary sessions and poster presentation will address scientists as well as practitioners. No conference fee will be charged. Due to the space limitation the number of participants is restricted to 200.

The conference is jointly organized by the Leibniz Association and French Institut Ecologie et Environnement-Centre National de la Recherche Scientifique (InEE-CNRS), and co-financed by the German National Academy of Sciences, Leopoldina.
