1 - 2007. 8 - 12 may 2007. Co-organization with J.L. de Beaulieu (IMEP) et R. Bradshaw (university of Liverpool) of an international meeting on the restart of the EPD (European Pollen Database). 80 French and foreign participants invited on funding delivered by the European Network of Excellence, EVOLTREE. This symposium was followed by two fieldtrip days in the Southern Alps.

6 - 2013. January 25th, 2013. Co-organizer, with J.L. de Beaulieu (IMBE) and J. Guiot (CEREGE) of a symposium in honor of Professor Armand Pons: “Climate change and Mediterranean biodiversity, what past for what future?”. Aix-Marseille University, Faculty of Sciences of St Charles, Amphitheater of Natural Sciences, Marseille. Number of participants: 100 people. Number of speakers (by invitation): 17.
5 - 2010. From October 25th to 29th, 2010. Co-leader with Catherine Ferrier (University Bordeaux 1) and Arnaud Lenoble (University Bordeaux 1) of a symposium “Impact of climate and environmental change on the continent in the Quaternary” proposed in the framework of the 23rd Meeting Earth Sciences, Bordeaux (RST), 25 to 29 October 2010.
4 - 2008. From february 26th to 28th, 2008. Symposium Chair (Session 3): “High Frequency Climate Variability and Response of Ancient Environments (Continen, Ocean, Ice) During the Quaternary” organized with my colleague PD Tzedakis (University of Leeds, United Kingdom), in the context of the International Symposium Q6, “Biodiversity in the Quaternary: Climats, Environments and Populations”, Montpellier, 26-28 February 2008. Limited to 12 communication.
3 - 2006. From May 14th to 16th, 2006, I organized a workshop in Lyon for the Echets working group, a workshop associated with a field trip (organized by J. Brulhet, Andra, and G. Nicoud, EDYTEM, Chambéry). 20 participants.
2 - 2001. From 24 to 26 September 2001 took place the symposium of A.P.L.F. (Association of Palynologists of French Language) in Arles. I was co-organizer of this conference with J.L. de Beaulieu and R. Cheddadi (I.M.E.P.), as well as A. Vincent (CEREGE, Aix-en-Provence) and D. Jolly (University of Montpellier). On this scientific event, 66 oral communications and 27 posters were presented. The abstracts were compiled in a volume distributed to the 130 participants.
1 - 1989. In June 1989, I participated in the organization of a conference (“Laminated Lacustrine Sediments and Current and Past Ice Environments”) of the French Association for Quaternary Studies (AFEQ), and in the writing of the booklet -guide of the excursion in the Pyrenees (“Pyrenean glacier: north slope / southern slope”) which succeeded him. 60 participants.
