A concrete and coherent grouping of skills for
an integrative approach to ecology.

The Mediterranean Institute of Biodiversity and Marine and Continental Ecology (IMBE) develops an integrative approach to studying biodiversity and socio-ecological systems.
IMBE thus provides fundamental and applied knowledge on the functions, historical and evolutionary dynamics of biodiversity across all types of Mediterranean ecosystems, from the construction of paleo-ecosystems to their future in the context of global change. This work also includes links with civil society on the one hand and human health issues on the other
