Year of Scientific Upgrading (AMNS) - Aix Marseille University
the Science Foundation Year (AMNS) is aimed at holders of a baccalaureate in technology, or without scientific specialisms, and covers the elements needed to study science. If you are successful, the following year will be the 2-year L1 (L1in2years).
L1 courses are spread over 2 years with additional support if science grades are below 10/20.
L1en2ans and AMNS lead to a licence in 4 years instead of 3, with the extra year not counted as a repeat.
Masters in Territorial Management and Local Development (GTDL) - Aix Marseille University
GTDL Masters comprises a single course, the parcours Sustainable Management of Mountain Areas (GDTM) (M1 and M2).
This training offer is supported by the Faculty of Economics and Management of AMU. The teaching is entirely outsourced to the Gap university centre in the Hautes-Alpes. The programme is supported by several research laboratories

The aim of the GDTM Master's degree is to provide students with the skills needed for careers in the organisation and development of rural and mountain areas. The aim is to train project leaders who will be able to bring together and unite the various players in the region, thereby contributing to its attractiveness, social cohesion and environmental quality.
Students are required to design and implement innovative initiatives in a wide range of fields (agriculture, food systems, energy, mobility, sports and tourism, quality of life, biodiversity conservation, environmental risks) with a view to sustainable development and regional resilience. These skills meet the needs of today's booming job market in the private, public and voluntary sectors.

This 66-hour continuing education course is open to everyone (baccalaureate level).
This course is aimed at companies, institutions and associations wishing to rethink their economic model while respecting the environment and the well-being of communities, as well as anyone wishing to acquire cross-disciplinary skills to contribute to the Environmental Transition.
Designed and produced by l'ITEM Institute, a teaching and research network of excellence and a key reference for AMU in ecological issues and environmental transition, in partnership with the SOUTH GREEK (regional group of experts on the climate) in the southern PACA region, whose mission is to help local managers and decision-makers integrate the issue of climate change into their core business.
