Master's degree in analytical chemistry applied to the study and development of biomolecules - Avignon University

Le Master "Analytical chemistry applied to the study and development of biomolecules" (MACh) aims to train students with 5 years' higher education to have a solid foundation of theoretical and practical skills in chemistry applied to the analysis and characterisation of biomolecules. In particular, these skills focus on in-depth knowledge of the chemistry of natural substances and biopolymers (analysis and synthesis), as well as extraction, separation and spectroscopic techniques. These are complemented by the use of chemometrics, statistics and modelling tools. This Master's is also the only one in the region to teach the development of metabolomics approaches. In addition to these subject areas, this Master's programme offers courses on knowledge of producing organisms (particularly plants and micro-organisms) and their metabolism in relation to their environment (chemical ecology).

International Master of Agronomic Sciences - Avignon University

Le International Master of Agronomic Sciences IMASAgroecology module. The IMAS Master's degree is at the heart of the IMPLANTEUS University Research School (EUR), which has been designed to meet the challenge of adapting Mediterranean farming systems for fruit and vegetable production to the constraints of global change, while promoting high nutritional quality.

The IMAS course offers training in English covering the fundamental aspects of the following disciplines: plant and environmental sciences, food chemistry, process science, microbiology, human nutrition and consumer science. This integrated training and the accompanying facilities encourage openness to research and innovation, as well as the pursuit of doctoral studies.

Master's degree in Biodiversity, Ecology and Evolution (BEE) - Aix Marseille Université

Biodiversity-related jobs require multi-disciplinary, cross-disciplinary scientific knowledge and specific professional skills. The BEE Masters trains high-level managers in ecology to become involved in scientific research, or in the management of natural areas and resources, biodiversity conservation, regional planning and ecological engineering.

These future high-level specialists will be able to identify, understand and solve environmental problems relating to ecology and evolutionary biology.

The course is supported by the IMBE and IMBE research laboratories. LPEDas well as the Aix-Marseille site's networks of excellence.

The BEE option is structured in 4 courses diploma courses :
