Administration and Logistics Division

Presentation

The IMBE Administration and Logistics Unit is dedicated to supporting all IMBE staff. It is made up of several departments coordinated by the administrative manager:

Administrative Manager

The RA has three main missions:

  1. Supporting the IMBE management in implementing its strategy and objectives and steering major projects.
  2. Overseeing the operation and organisation of the administration department, managing complex files.
  3. To support all IMBE staff in their career development, whatever their status or supervisory authority.

 

Finance Department

This department manages mission requests and purchases, and monitors and manages research budgets and projects.

Projects Department

This service assists staff in setting up, submitting and monitoring the administrative and legal aspects of their research projects and conferences. This work is carried out in coordination with the development services of the supervisory bodies and the IMBE's financial and HR services.

Human Resources Department

The HR department provides administrative support for all staff, regardless of their status or supervisory authority. It deals with requests relating to their professional situation, career development and recruitment, as well as setting up internship or hosting agreements for foreign staff.

Logistics department

This department is responsible for the maintenance and operation of IMBE sites. It identifies work to be carried out and draws up and monitors work plans in conjunction with the logistics departments of the host establishments. This department supports the Observation and Experimentation Unit in maintaining the IMBE's experimental sites, gardens and olive grove.

Together, these departments work in synergy to offer comprehensive support tailored to all IMBE's needs.

The Finance Department manages requests for missions and purchases. This department also manages and monitors the Institute's own and recurrent funds.

The Human Resources Department manages recruitment applications, training agreements and the integration of staff. The department also supports staff in their career development.

The Project Department assists staff in setting up and monitoring research projects and in organising conferences.
