Listening to the world: the IRD and its scientific projects

Through a series of four immersive episodes, theIRD in the South-East region and Radio Grenouille explores scientific projects developed in collaboration with developing countries. From bioacoustics to seismology, from cocoa to the rights of the Mediterranean Sea, each episode gives the floor to IRD researchers (in particular Amandine Gasc and Hervé Jourdan from IMBE) and their scientific partners in Peru, Lebanon, Costa Rica, New Caledonia and Senegal. These sound correspondence notebooks offer a sensitive and documented insight into committed research projects, in tune with territories, societies and the challenges of sustainable development.
