Biodiversity, Ecosystems, Global Change

I am interested in specialized metabolites production, especially for volatiles, in marine and terrestrial plants in front of environmental stresses. My aims are mainly to better understand the ecophysiological role of BVOC and how they can impact the ecosystems functioning.

  • October 2023 - present - postdoctoral position on ecophysiological roles of BVOC from seagrass species - IMBE - Aix Marseille Université - France
  • September 2022 - July 2023 - research and development officer in forest modelling - Treeseve (private sector) - France
  • July 2021 - August 2022 - research and development officer in nature based solutions - GreenPraxis (private sector) - France
  • December 2017 - August 2020 - postodoctoral position in species interaction mediated with BVOC under a polluted environment - Department fo Environmental Sciences - University of Eastern Finland - Finland
  • 2017 - Doctorate - Forest response to medium- and long-term drought scenarios applied in a natural environment: study of the VOCBs of downy oak, the main isoprene emitter in the Mediterranean region - IMBE-Aix Marseille Université
  • terrestrial and marine chemical ecology
  • terrestrial and marine functional ecology
  • plant ecophysiology
  • atmospheric chemistry

My current project is to decipher the ecological and physiological roles of BVOCs in benthic environments with a focus on seagrasses.
