Biodiversity, Ecosystems

As a naturalist, I have worked on many types of taxa, particularly mammals, birds and arthropods, and this naturalist orientation led me to want to work in ecological research. I decided to do a master's degree in ecology and quickly became interested in the study of interactions between organisms and the functioning of ecosystems. I'm currently doing a thesis on the subject of photovoltaic parks, to better demonstrate their impact on biodiversity and improve management recommendations. I'm working on the effect of different disturbances (shading of solar panels, herbivory, etc.) on soil organisms, plants and pollinators.

My thesis is part of a project funded by ADEME, the French Environment and Energy Management Agency, entitled REMEDE (REseaux d'interactions et Multifonctionnalités Ecologiques: Développement et validation de deux approches complémentaires d'intégration environnementale pour une énergie photovoltaïque vertueuse). It focuses on the study of trophic interactions and ecological functions in photovoltaic power plants in order to demonstrate their impact on biodiversity.
