Assistant biology engineer (CNRS)

BMC

Biodiversity, Ecosystems

Working in the department since 2020, I support research projects by ensuring that the BMC platform runs smoothly and by providing technical assistance, advice and training to users.

> Specialising in the preparation of samples (nucleic acids from marine/terrestrial organisms or environmental samples) and libraries for outsourced high-throughput sequencing.

> Technical reference on Metabarcoding approaches for identifying species present in environmental samples (with little or no degradation): Advice upstream of project submission (experimental design, samples and controls required, budgeting, etc.), coordination of the various projects, technical training, management of common reagents, etc.

> Proposal, development and implementation of protocols tailored to project needs, analysis and presentation of results
> Sample bank management
> Scientific and technological watch
