My thesis aims to identify the determinants of translocation success, using Hermann's Tortoise as a study model. I am conducting behavioural monitoring using telemetry and GPS of turtles translocated in the Var. I am assessing their survival, movements and sedentarisation during the first few years after release, by studying how individual personality influences their adaptation to a new environment.
