The main objectives of my research are to gain a better understanding of community assembly theories. In particular, the aim is to be able to answer fundamental questions concerning the explanation of the species richness of plant communities, their structuring and dynamics. The results are then applied to the conservation management or ecological restoration of degraded ecosystems.
