I have been a teacher-researcher specialising in ecology and palaeoecology since 2005, first at the Institut Méditerranéen d'Écologie et de Paléoécologie (IMEP), then at the IMBE. I have worked on the study of past environments and climate change through the analysis of sediments and fossil pollens throughout the Quaternary. Some of my work has focused on the multi-disciplinary analysis of lake sedimentary sequences, in order to reconstruct the palaeoenvironmental and palaeoclimatic dynamics of the last few thousand years. Understanding the impact of global warming and past human activities on high-altitude lakes is at the heart of my research, which focuses on the broader issue of the vulnerability of these fragile ecosystems.
