Interested in chemical communication in marine fields, my PhD was focussed on the ecological role of sponge released-molecules in the structure and the functioning of underwater caves.

My main objectives were to:
- Explore the link between the composition of chemical seascape and the associated benthic biodiversity
- Study the swimming behavioral of small crustaceans in response to a given chemical seascape

This project led me to develop a series of interdisciplinary skills including :
- Scientific diving to carry out on site experiments and observations
- The design of aquarium settings to study behavioral response of organisms
- Image processing to determine the benthic biodiversity of underwater caves
- Analysing and processing LC-MS based metabolomics for the analysis of dissolved molecules

Graduated from my PhD, I am now seeking for a post-doc position.

I recently completed my PhD in Marine Ecology, entitled "Chemical Mediation Inside Underwater Caves: Towards a Better Understanding of Ecosystem Functioning in the Ocean".at the Mediterranean Institute of Marine and Terrestrial Biodiversity and Ecology (IMBE) in Marseille (France) under the supervision of Thierry Pérez, Pierre Chevaldonné and Charlotte Simmler. I am currently open to post-doc opportunities.
