I am a long term ecologist working on past and future fire disturbance and vegetation dynamics in European ecosystems (Mediterranean region, Carpathian mountains, Armorican massif).

Research interests
Disturbances such as fires, human impacts or climatic changes have impacted most terrestrial ecosystems. I am particularly interested in their impacts on plant diversity in a context of global warming
.
This work is interdisciplinary with a multi-proxies approach involving collaboration with geologists, biogeographers, archaeologists or palynologists.
