Doctoral student at Avignon University, ED 536 "Sciences and agrosciences".

EECAR

My main research areas are community ecology and entomology. During my thesis, I am interested in island biogeography and the assembly rules of ant communities on small Mediterranean islands. I am also studying the effects of global change on ant community dynamics. My research focuses on different spatial and temporal scales. Firstly, on the scale of the Mediterranean basin, I am studying the area-species relationship and the effect of small islands on ant communities. Secondly, on the scale of satellite islets in Corsica, I am studying the temporal dynamics of ant communities over a time span of almost 40 years. I am also studying the dynamics of ant communities in a context of multi-invasions and ecological restoration on the island of Bagaud (Port-Cros National Park).
