Biodiversity, Global change

My research focuses on the development of biochemical biomarkers and morphometric whose response to the presence of pesticides provides early indications of impacts on non-target organisms in agrosystems. I am particularly interested in energy cost induced by stress (chemical, social, thermal) and its repercussions on the metabolism and development of arthropods. My studies focus on insects involved in ecosystem services such as biological control with the earwig.

  • 2004-2012 - MCF - Entomophilic Pollination Laboratory
  • 2012- - MCF - EECAR - IMBE
  • 2001 - Pharmacokinetic and pharmacodynamic study of lethality induced by imidacloprid and its metabolites in honey bees (Apis mellifera) - UCBL 1
  • Biochemical biomarkers
  • Metabolic cost
  • Carbohydrate characterisation

The aim is to develop new biochemical biomarkers to highlight the impact of stress (chemical, thermal) on insects involved in ecosystem services. The studies will focus on glycogen phosphorylase, which is responsible for the regulation of glycogen and accounts for the energy cost induced by stress.
