Congratulations to Blanche Krieguer !
A young researcher who defended her thesis in March 2025 at the Institut de Chimie Radicalaire and the IMBE (CHIPS team), in collaboration with Sartorius, and currently a temporary teaching and research associate at Aix-Marseille University. 2026 SCF Sud PACA thesis prize for his work on polymeric materials for single-use systems.
His research compared the effect of gamma rays, X-rays and electron beams on these materials at different scales, showing equivalence of the three technologies up to 100 kGy, guaranteeing the stability and safety of biopharmaceutical products.
A thesis multi-scale and collaborative, with 9 international publications, which provides manufacturers with reliable data for optimise sterilisation processes and facilitate the transition to new technologies.
