Mountains workshop

18th and 19th March 2026, IMBE, in partnership with ITEM and ARKAIA, is organising two study days on the following topics mountain areas in the face of global change.

Organised in collaboration with ORCHAMP (national observatory of mountain biodiversity) and Alpine Sentinels, this event places interdisciplinarity at the heart of our thinking, This is a cross-disciplinary project involving ecology, hydrobiology, soil science and archaeology.

These days also aim to share our knowledge and create concrete synergies between academic partners (IMBE, LECA, CARRTEL, MMSH) and field players (CBNA, CBNmed, Ecrins National Park).

📍 The thematic workshop will be held at the Saint-Jérôme Faculty (Marseille) at face-to-face, and can also be followed by videoconference.
